Information We Collect
Diagnostic and performance data
We collect diagnostic data such as crash reports, stack traces, performance metrics, device identifiers, OS version, device type, and app version to help us understand stability and improve the App. This data is sent to Sentry.io for processing and storage. It is used only for app reliability and performance analysis. We do not enable default PII collection (such as IP address or request headers) in Sentry.
No personal information
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location.
How We Use App Permissions
Camera
The App may request access to the camera to scan QR codes used for reading progress and bookmark syncing. We do not capture or store photos or video outside of this QR scanning flow.
Local network access
The App may access your local network to sync data between devices on the same network. This is limited to local network communication and is not used to discover or collect personal information.
Background audio
The App uses background audio so reading playback can continue while the App is in the background or the device is locked.
Data Sharing
We share diagnostic and performance data with Sentry.io, our error monitoring provider, for the sole purpose of app reliability and performance analysis. We do not sell your data and do not share personal information with third parties.
Data Retention
Sentry diagnostic data is automatically removed after 30 days.
Your Choices
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App. Some app functions (QR scanning, background audio, local syncing) require the related permissions to work.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
